But it’s even harder when you’re confused and overwhelmed with where to actually start successfully losing weight.
Here’s a great checklist I’ve put together just for you that’ll help you see straight away what you need to adjust so you can start losing weight successfully.
Answer these 13 questions and find out what areas you need to adjust.
👉🏻 What’s the BIGGEST reason behind why you want to lose weight?
👉🏻 Is your plate balanced with 25% protein, 25% carbs + 50% veggies?
👉🏻 How are your portion sizes too big or too small [quick portion control guide for women: 1 palm-sized portion of protein, 1 fist-sized portion of non-starchy vegetables, 1 cupped-hand-sized portion of carbs, 1 thumb-sized portion of healthy fats]?
👉🏻 Do you really need “that” snack when you’re not hungry?
👉🏻 Are you drinking 2L of water a day to keep your body hydrated and flush toxins out?
👉🏻 What’s your weekly alcohol intake? More than 10 units a week is too much.
👉🏻 Are you drinking more than 1 coffee per day? Too much coffee will put stress on your adrenals, stopping you from losing weight.
👉🏻 What tools are you using to curb your addiction to biscuits and diet coke?
👉🏻 Are you planning your meals in advance so that you preparing yourself for weight loss success?
👉🏻 How much exercise are you doing each day? Exercise should be a minimum of at least 30 minutes a day.
👉🏻 What do you do to ensure that your body is getting enough rest and you’re sleeping well each night? [7-8 hours]
👉🏻 What do you do to stop stressful situations to prevent your cortisol from escalating which will make you gain even more weight?
👉🏻 On a scale of 1-10 [1 being lowest 10 being highest] How motivated are you to lose weight? [less than 7: think about the reasons why losing weight is important to you. This is all the motivation you’ll need.]
